Nitish Reddy’s healthy moment came when his family met him at the hotel. In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the cricketer’s father can be seen hugging him and crying with joy while meeting his son. He also hugged his mother and sister.
“Nitish played very well today. I am proud of him. We suffered a lot. We are grateful to the Indian cricket team,” he said.
Her sister said it is not an easy journey for a cricketer. “All I can say is we are very proud and very happy. My brother said it and he did it.”
