Jennifer Lopez hired Bruno Mars for his multi-million dollar performance fees.

During a podcast interview, celebrity wedding planner Marcy Bloom shared Lopez’s reaction when she found out how much it would cost to book a show with the “24K Magic” singer.

“We were working with J.Lo and A-Rod before they broke up, and they were looking at a list of musicians, and she said, ‘What about Bruno Mars?'” Bloom explained on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast. “.

Bloom recalled telling Lopez that she “just worked with” Mars on another wedding. The “Marry You” singer earned $5 million to sing for between 45 minutes and an hour, according to Bloom.

Shortly after this breakup, Lopez met actor Ben Affleck. The two got together after they ended their first engagement in 2004.

They tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by a more traditional and lavish ceremony in Georgia a month later.

Earlier this year, Lopez filed for divorce on August 20 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Her petition to annul her marriage to Affleck was filed on their second wedding anniversary in Georgia.
