Teenagers in Washington state have been charged as adults in the gang-related stabbing of a 14-year-old boy, who was tied to a tree and then cut down.

Two 17-year-olds have been charged as adults in the horrific stabbing earlier this month of a 14-year-old in Snohomish County, Washington.

Milo Canales and Hayden Losbrink have been charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and first-degree kidnapping, according to FOX 13.

The victim was allegedly tied to a tree at Lions Park in Everett, Washington, on December 16, after he went there with a girl. The two male suspects grabbed him as he opened the door for the girl, who then left in the car, Fox 13 reported, citing court documents.

He was also allegedly pistol-whipped by the suspects and had the letter “N” carved on his chest, in reference to the “Norte” or “Norteño” gang that is active in the area.

Investigators said the suspects were motivated by gang relationships and the fight that took place between them and the victim at their school.

The victim told investigators that he recognized his attackers as fellow students at his high school.
