From what we’re all seeing on social media, the Pop-Tarts Bowl is full of funny content.
But an incident that occurred during Saturday’s game between two Miami Hurricanes teams appears to have led to them getting hit.
Senior Simeon Barrow Jr. and freshman Marquis Lightfoot were separated after Barrow Jr. threw a punch and Lightfoot pushed Barrow.

The Hurricanes didn’t want to play on Saturday. They took control of their destiny heading into the College Football Playoff, but after losing to Syracuse in the final week of the season, they were eliminated from the ACC title game and, ultimately, from the tournament.
The buzz came after a high-scoring first quarter in which the Cyclones allowed 21 points to Iowa State. The Hurricanes won the game 42-41.
Cam Ward, a potential first-round pick in the NFL Draft, only played in the first half, exiting the game after Miami regained a 31-28 lead heading into halftime.

Sportscaster Greg Gamble dies at age 78
After the game, the Pop-Tarts mascot was “toasted”, and the Cyclones were given a toaster trophy.
It is the first time the Cyclones have won 11 games in a season.

Bichette finished with 270 yards and three touchdowns for Iowa State (11-2), a program that entered this season had never won more than nine games in a season.
