Team India spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was at his best with the ball on day four of the ongoing fourth Test match against Australia. Jasprit Bumrah picked up the wicket of Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey with a thrilling delivery in Australia’s second innings in Melbourne.
The Indian seamers made an early breakthrough by dismissing Australia’s opener cheaply on Sunday, December 29. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Sam Konstas, while Mohammad Siraj dismissed Usman Khawaja. Australia pushed their lead to over 150 runs despite losing two early wickets in the morning session on day four.

The incident occurred on the last ball of the 36th over of Australia’s innings. Jasprit Bumrah bowled the ball at a good length into the channel, and it fell back after the delivery. Alex Carey looked to punch it through the covers but was beaten on the inside edge. The ball passes through the gap of the bat’s pad and hits the off-stump.
