Young Indian spinner Yashasvi Jaiswal made a huge mistake on day four of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne when he dropped Marnus Labuschagne in the gully. The dropped catch enraged India captain Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal spinner Akash Deb.
It was a simple catch that came straight into Jaiswal’s lap but he wasted the opportunity despite getting it with both hands. Labuschagne, as he has done throughout the series, went for a wide length ball outside off stump for a late cut.
But the ball bounced a little more and went straight towards Yashavi Jaiswal who was also standing nearby. Both Rohit Sharma and Akash Deb couldn’t stop themselves from showing their emotions. Akash Deb even said a few words for Jaiswal.
