Kovalev on anger against Joshua: ‘Joshua has a shaky head’

‘The Crusher’ Sergei Kovalev is leaning towards a Tyson Fury win over Anthony Joshua in the ‘Battle of Britain’ when the two former world heavyweight champions meet in 2025.

“Fragile” chin.

Kovalev says Joshua is “fragile” in the chin area, which is why he believes Fury can win. Sergei is not saying that Fury’s strength is not on the level of the fighters that AJ has had problems with during his career.

Hard punches that hurt Joshua

– Wladimir Klitschko
-Andy Ruiz Jr.
-Daniel Dubois
– Alexander Povetkin
– Dillian Whyte

Only two of these fighters have defeated Joshua, which shows that he is resilient and finds a way to bounce back when he gets hurt during his fights. Fury is nowhere near any of these fighters in terms of power, and his method of scoring knockouts involves pummeling his opponents. Joshua is too strong to be worn down by Fury’s grabbing and tilting tactics.

It is unclear whether Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) will agree to fight Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) after suffering his second defeat to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk last Saturday night in Riyadh.

After the fight, Fury, 36, looked like a bitter politician, angry with the judges, and in complete and utter denial about what happened. His love of money will likely bring him back.

There’s too much green for the King of Gyspy to return for two lucrative fights against the fading Joshua, who was blown out of the water by Daniel Dubois on September 21. If Fury wasn’t interested in the money, he’d probably retire and never be seen again, but he wouldn’t be able to resist coming back for… 100 million dollars Payday vs. AJ. Both fighters are expected to earn more than $100 million in their “Battle of Britain” clash.

“Joshua doesn’t throw punches to the head, you know? Joshua has a fragile head. A little bit, and he’s already dancing,” Sergey Kovalev told Secondsout, saying Anthony Joshua’s punch resistance is poor. “I don’t know who will win, but I think Tyson Fury “He will win (over) Joshua.”
