Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will undergo surgery to remove his prostate on Sunday after being diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, his office announced.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that the 75-year-old leader underwent an examination at Hadassah Hospital on Wednesday, where he “was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection resulting from a benign enlargement of the prostate.”
“As a result, the Prime Minister will undergo surgery to remove the prostate tomorrow,” he added.
