Canadian actress and model Dale Haddon has died. She was 76 years old.
Haddon’s cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning, the Solebury Township Police Department confirmed with Fox News Digital.
“The investigation indicates there was a defect in the flue pipe and exhaust pipe in the gas heating system, which caused a carbon monoxide leak,” the police report stated.

The cause and manner of death will be “pending toxicology” until test results are returned and analyzed, the Bucks County Coroner’s Office shared with Fox News Digital.
The Solebury Township Police Department responded to a call on Friday, December 27, 2024 at approximately 6:31 a.m.
Bucks County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications received a call from a resident that a man was lying, passed out, on the first floor of a detached office or in-law suite, according to a police report.
The New Hope Lambertville Rescue Squad was first on the scene and they immediately removed a 76-year-old man from the building. Police confirmed that the man who survived was Walter Blucas. He is in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Haddon was discovered unconscious in bed on the second floor of the building and was pronounced dead.
The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company was also on scene and detected a high level of carbon monoxide at the property, the police report said.
Two paramedics were transported to Doylestown Hospital for carbon monoxide exposure and a Solebury Township police officer was treated at the scene.
The home was owned by Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, and Ryan’s husband, Hallmark actor Mark Blucas, according to records.

This case is currently under investigation by the Solebury Township Police Department.
The authorities stressed that this tragic accident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of carbon monoxide safety precautions in homes.
Haddon was born on May 26, 1948 in Canada.
At the age of 13, she was a member of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and became Miss Montreal at 18.

During her modeling career, Haddon signed contracts with four major cosmetics companies — Revlon, Max Factor, Estée Lauder, and L’Oréal — according to her website.
Haddon appeared on the cover of the 1973 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She starred in films including Disney’s “The World’s Greatest Athlete” and “North Dallas Forty” with Nick Nolte.

She has also appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Cosmopolitan magazines during her career.
Additionally, the model and actress has written the books “Ageless Beauty” and “5 Principles for Ageless Living.”
Haddon’s daughter, Ryan, paid tribute to her late mother in an emotional post on social media.
“The bright light that Dale is in this earthly world has dimmed. I have no doubt that somewhere he is shining as brightly as ever where he is needed most,” Ryan wrote on Instagram.
“She was a woman as strong as she was, yet soft and attentive to everyone. Very creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and thoughtful,” she wrote in part.
Haddon’s daughter concluded the post by writing, “Pure heart. Rich inner life. Touching so many lives. Good life. Rest in the light, mama.”
